GET TOGETHER 2003.
Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record
what I've learned about our family history. In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if
not the world. One of the goals of this web site is to help Boydell family members get/stay connected even though we live
far apart.
On this page I'll provide a little information about who I am and what inspired me to do this research.
My name is Mick Boydell and I was born in Wolverhampton, England 29/3/1952. My father Norman Thomas George Boydell,
married Dorothy Mary Richards and they had 3 sons myself and 2 brothers David b 8/12/42 and Alan b 23/8/46. My father died
3/6/63 aged 43 years when I was 11 years of age.
I went to the Wolverhampton Municipal Grammar school from 1963 -
1968. I have since attained a Msoc Sc (social work), BSc (Hons) Health Sciences, Dip SW, Dip HESCS, gained at
Birmingham and Wolverhampton Universities.
I have a great interest in genealogy and have several family pedigrees
(trees) that dates back to c1080 and information on the Boydell family back to c940. I am willing to share my info with any
interested party and would welcome contact from other Boydells or indeed any one with an interest in the Boydell Family History.
I am also willing to converse with other family tree compilers irrespective of the family name being researched.
This
is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out the picture.
